## Application Process and Selection Stages
Prospective educators wishing to embark on an academic career with UMS must complete all required fields and submit their credentials through the designated online application portal. Candidates whose application files pass the administrative review will be invited to the subsequent selection phase, which includes a computer-based English Proficiency Test and Academic Potential Test.

## General Candidate Qualifications
To maintain high standards of teaching and research, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Citizenship & Faith: Must be an Indonesian citizen and an observant Muslim.
* Age Limits:
* Maximum 30 years old for Master’s (S2) degree holders.
* Maximum 40 years old for Doctoral (S3) degree holders and Medical Specialists.
* Legal Clearance: Must possess a good conduct record, verified by an official Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) confirming no history of criminal sentencing.
* Academic Credentials for Master’s (S2) / Specialist I:
* Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) for the Master’s degree, completed within a maximum study period of 3 years, and strictly linear with the undergraduate degree.
* Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale), completed within a maximum study period of 5 years.
* Academic Credentials for Doctoral (S3) / Specialist II:
* Minimum Master’s GPA of 3.50 (4.0 scale) achieved within 3 years.
* Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25 (4.0 scale) achieved within 5 years.
* Proven publication record in reputable international journals.
* Language Proficiency: Valid certificates demonstrating a minimum score of TOEFL ITP 525, IELTS 5.5, TOEFL CBT 195, TOEFL IBT 61, or TOAFL 500.
* Health & Integrity: Physical fitness, psychological well-being, and freedom from narcotics must be certified by a government-owned regional hospital (RSUD/RSJ) upon acceptance.
* Employment Status: Must not be bound by employment agreements or hold active candidate/permanent/contract positions elsewhere.

1. Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD)
* Openings: 2 positions for S3 degree holders.
* Requirement: Must hold an S3 qualification in a directly aligned educational field.
2. Management
* Openings: 2 positions for S3 degree holders.
* Requirement: Must hold a linear S3 degree in Management.
3. Law
* Openings: 2 positions for S2, 1 position for S3.
* Fields: Civil Law, International Law.

9. Islamic Education (PAI)

* Academic Criteria: Doctorate (Ph.D.) preferred, ideally from overseas institutions, with continuous educational linearity from S1 to S3 in Islamic Educational Sociology, Educational Psychology, or Educational Technology and Media Development.
* Additional Competencies: Mastery of Arabic and English, Quranic sciences, Hadith, and Ushul Fiqh; minimum memorization of 5 Juz of the Quran (1, 2, 3, 29, and 30); active dedication to the Muhammadiyah movement; and adherence to the community's code of conduct (including a strict non-smoking policy). 10. Al-Quran and Tafsir Sciences

* Academic Criteria: Linear progression from S1 to S3 in Al-Quran and Tafsir Sciences.

11. Sharia Business Law
