## 1. Senior Legal Counsel
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a critical advisory role, reporting directly to the Legal Manager Operations. Your primary objective is to deliver comprehensive legal support across procurement, projects, operations, and foundational business activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Contract Management: Draft and negotiate complex agreements covering services, purchasing, drilling, workovers, marine chartering, facility sharing, FEED, EPCI, O&M, and other vital energy-sector contracts. Ensure strict alignment with PTK-007 guidelines, local laws, and internal corporate policies.
* Dispute Resolution: Handle legal claims and disputes filed against the company. Collaborate closely with external legal counsels to safeguard corporate interests throughout every stage of the legal process.
* Policy Development: Contribute strategic insights toward the creation of corporate policies, legal resources, and internal guidelines.
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in local and national laws, assess regulatory impacts on ongoing business activities, and liaise proactively with relevant regulatory authorities.
* Committee Representation: Act as the designated representative for the Legal function within internal tender committees.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); possession of a Master’s or advanced post-graduate degree in Law is considered a distinct advantage.
* Professional Background: Minimum of 10 years of solid legal experience, gained either as an in-house counsel within the oil and gas sector or within a reputable corporate law firm.
* Certifications: Certification in PTK-007 (Procurement of Goods and Services in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry) and admission to the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) are preferred.
* Core Skills: Exceptional issue-spotting acumen for sensitive legal and business risks, proactive problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative, approachable working style.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English, paired with an advanced ability to draft precise legal documents in English.
