## Career Opportunity: Electrical Technician
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Balikpapan. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and safety of our electrical systems within refinery environments.
Core Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and operational safety of our electrical infrastructure, including:
* Executing commissioning, startup, inspections, and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
* Performing regular checks on motors, panels, MCC units, switchgear, transformers, cables, lighting, and grounding systems.
* Managing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks based on established maintenance plans and work orders.
* Conducting rapid, accurate, and safe troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime.
* Identifying equipment abnormalities and providing actionable recommendations to supervisors and engineers.
* Interpreting complex technical documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
* Ensuring full compliance with SOPs, Permit to Work protocols, JSA/JHA, and strict HSSE guidelines.
* Maintaining detailed documentation of all work performed and equipment status.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Must be an Indonesian Citizen.
* Minimum education of SMA or SMK (Vocational High School).
* Proven experience in electrical equipment maintenance for at least 3 years.
* Technical proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electrical motor gearboxes.
* Demonstrable skill in using specialized electrical measurement tools.
* Strong analytical ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment efficiently and safely.
* Capability to read and explain Single Line Diagrams and technical electrical drawings.
* Solid fundamental knowledge of electrical equipment.
* Must be domiciled in Balikpapan or the surrounding areas.
* Willingness to work as a Contract-Based Employee (Tenaga Alih Daya/TAD).
